Mission Statement
Mission: What God wants us to do is to glorify Him, to proclaim the Gospel, and to develop people to Christ-like maturity empowered for ministry in the church and in the world.
Purpose: It is our goal to make everyone aware of how wonderful Jesus Christ is, and to encourage and enable Christians for ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
How do we strive to achieve this goal?
- By worshiping publicly with a strong emphasis on Bible-based sermons.
- By praying and reading the Word of God when we are together, and when we are by ourselves.
- By telling people about Jesus in personal conversations.
- By supporting, through prayer and finances, those who go outside our community to tell people about Jesus Christ.
- By teaching and learning, using the Bible as our main textbook.
- By applying to our daily lives what we learn from sermons and lessons.
- By taking part in the symbolic acts of Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper as shared acts of obedience to Christ.
